Colic in infants: symptoms and ways to overcome them

Colic often occurs in newborns, usually babies cry without cause makes us panic and do not know what to do. This lasts for the first two months and subsides in the third or fourth month. Unlike it seems, colic in infants is actually not so dangerous and will subside by itself, even experts have not been able to determine what is actually the cause of colic. Basically colic is a pain in the baby's stomach that causes a fussy baby and cries continuously between one and four hours, often at night but there are some cases that occur in the morning or evening.

Things that must be considered when colic occurs in your baby:

1. Do not be forced to continue giving milk to newborns who suffer from colic.

2. Avoid giving food containing sugar. because the sugar content contains gas which can make things worse.

3. Intestinal allergies can also cause colic in infants so it is very important for mothers to know exactly what makes the baby allergic. This can happen through ASI.

4. Take care of our emotions when holding a baby such as feelings of anger, anxiety or excessive excitement because this will also affect the comfort of the baby.

The best way to deal with colic in infants is not to panic and keep the baby as comfortable as possible because as previously stated that colic has no cure.
